Tricolor TV, NTV-Plus channels switched to Russian satellite

MOSCOW, Feb 10 (PRIME) -- Broadcasting of channels of Russian satellite TV operators National Satellite Company, working under the Tricolor TV brand, and NTV-Plus have been switched to a new domestic satellite from an apparatus of Europe’s Eutelsat, the state-owned Russian Satellite Communications Company said in a statement Wednesday.

The Express-AMU1 satellite was put into orbit on December 25, 2015, and put in operation on Wednesday.

Digital channels of Tricolor TV and NTV-Plus are now broadcast on the European part of the country via the Russian satellite.
